So this is it: a project that has ultimately taken 5 years to finish. I started pairing photos some time ago - after a while, some themes in the pictures I had taken became repeatable, some places, some shapes -located hundreds of kilometers from each other - started to fuse together. And it was only a matter of time before those images begun pairing with each other, almost organically. That is how Duopolis started. If nothing else, it's a study of architecture and urban coincidence - a black-and-white registry of common and uncommon places from all around Europe. By any means, not a travel guide - just a visual notebook with some observations.
